Hi I’m Dr Tobias Wade

I have been practising as a GP in Hervey Bay for over 10 years and I enjoy providing holistic patient centred care to my patients.

I graduated from the Griffith University School of Medicine in 2010. I went on to complete my Masters of Medicine in Skin Cancer in 2016 through the University of Queensland. I completed my Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in January 2024.

I’m an accredited Skin Cancer Specialist with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. I perform advanced skin flaps on the face, as well as other areas of the body, and offer full body skin checks with dermoscopy.

I’m also a member of the Australian Society for Psychological Medicine. I have received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and provide focused psychological services for the treatment of anxiety, depression and stress.

I have a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine and over a decade of experience in performing intra-articular steroid injections without ultrasound.

I’m passionate about providing health care to our veterans and working alongside our local DVA advocates to assist patients requiring DVA assessments for their white and gold cards.

During my free time, I love to support the Brisbane Broncos, play boardgames, write, and serve as a Pastor and Board Member at New Life Christian Church.
