Dr Tobias Wade – BSc BNurs MBBS MMed (Skin Cancer) FRACGP

Hi I’m Dr Tobias Wade

I have been practising as a GP in Hervey Bay for over 10 years. I graduated from the Griffith University School of Medicine in 2010. I went on to complete my Masters of Medicine in Skin Cancer in 2016 through the University of Queensland. I completed my Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in January 2024.

I am a certified Skin Cancer Specialist with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. I perform advanced skin flaps and full-thickness skin grafts on the face, as well as other areas of the body. I offer full body skin checks with dermoscopy and photography.

I’m also a member of the Australian Society for Psychological Medicine. I have advanced skills training in mental health and offer Focused Psychological Services for the treatment of anxiety, depression and stress.

I’m passionate about providing health care to our veterans and working alongside our local DVA advocates to help patients requiring DVA assessments for their white and gold cards.

I also work alongside our local Queensland Ambulance Service and provide medical assessments for First Responders.

When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my wife and three children, preaching at my local church and serving on the church board. 

I’m a passionate Brisbane Broncos fan. When I’m not watching Rugby League games, I’m reading comics or playing boardgames.
